The State Railways of Austria : Liveries

There were at each time, formal and official liveries for each type of locomotive. Here we note some, and also show some of the more unusual.
Note that all locomotibes did not change colour overnight, and that Nostalhgieloks are usually seen in old colourschemes.

The ARG will welcome input on the Liveries section, whether corrections where we may have made errors, additions (particularly on narrow gauge liveries) or to bring the information up to date with liveries from the 1990s and this century. Please tell us.
The information has been gleaned/interpreted from the early editions of the Alba 'Triebfahrzeuge österreischer Eisenbahnen' series and will benefit from editing and extending by another member with access to more recent editions.
