Beautifully restored and officially part of the nearby Heizhaus museum, the loco stands on the grass by the main road on B205 in Strasshof town centre (photo Ron Ferguson )

Selzthal Station

Plinthed at the sation beside the depot where many of OBB's Nostalgie locos are based. Built by WLF 1943 as DRB 52 7046 Click here to see the plaque or cabside (photos Stephen Ford 2005)

1189 09

Crocodile 1189 09 is preserved at the west end of the famous Arlberg route. It stands on a short track complete with catenary in Wolfurt Yard south of Bregenze. (photo Ron Ferguson )

52 7102

Beautifully restored and on a short spur line, 7102 forms part of a bar complex under Wien's Briggettenau Bridge. The loco is fitted with a Giesl ejector. Some restored carriages complet the scene. (photo Ron Ferguson )

2020 01
Wien Ost

The earliest example of OBB's mainline diesels, 2020 01 is displayed in the yard of OBB Wien Ost depot, between the office block and the depot itself. Loco subsequently removed for restoration.

Attnang Puchheim

Standing just by the car park of Attnang Puchheim station, the green l iveried 1045 12 is displayed with catenary and masts in place. (photo Ron Ferguson )

91 32
Murzzuschlag

Scarcely main line, but 91 32 sits on the platform at Murzzuschlag station. The loco was moved c 2004 to the museum in the same town. (photo Ron Ferguson )

Amstetten
Eggerdorfer Str.

Beatifully displayed in open space beside the line close to the underbridge between the station and depot is 78 (photo Ron Ferguson )
