Burg Guessing Guessing, Borderland. Nearest ÖBB station Mogersdorf (Szentgotthard – Graz) (18 km) but there is no public transport. Nearest ÖBB station with public transport is Overwork (Overwork – Fried). Regular Post Bus service to Guessing from Overwork bahnhof Varlets. Technically an inclined elevator worked as a funicular, the line runs from a small car park up to the side of Burg Guessing. 95.3 metres long, the Bergstation is 50 metres above the talstation. The average gradient is 62.5%. Built in 2000 by Duplexer, the line has a gauge of 550mm, and the single cabin has a capacity of 16 people, travelling at a maximum speed of 2 metres/second. Burg Guessing, built in 1157, is now in use as a concert venue.
