Brawa

The German model railway firm Brawa was formed in 1948, and for some years traded as Artur Braun and Europa, changing its' trading name to BRAWA in 1963. The company made a trolley-bus set from 1950 through to 2000, and also diversified into electrical accessories, ski lifts and cable cars. The company makes German outline railway vehicles in a variety of gauges, which include some locos and diesel units which work into Austria.

The firm has produced a fine model of the Köf shunter X.150 in Austrian Era 3 & 4 liveries and most recently has added some Epoch 2 BBÖ coaches, lights and accessories for the Austrian model railway scene; in all the Brawa range has over 800 items. The firm does not deal direct, except for spares, but has a network of dealers in many countries. The list is available on the website.
