MAV currently (January 2005) have ten Taurus locomotives designated as class 1047:

The class MAV 1047 (originally to be designated V47) were ordered by Hungarian State Railways (MAV) in September 2001. They are standard 1116 locos with additional EVM120 automatic train protection for use within Hungary, as well as Indsui for use in Austria and in Germany.

1047 001-1, 1047 002-9, 1047 003-7, 1047 008-6.
1047 001-1 was built by Siemens Krauss Maffei and released to MAV on 22 Mar 2002., followed by 002-9 on 02 July 2002 and 003-7 on 09 Aug 2002. 1047 008-6 was delivered 16 Oct 2002. These locos have "Siemens Krauss Maffei" on the right hand sole plate at each end.

1047 004-5, 1047 005-2, 1047 006-0, 1047 007-8, 1047 009-4, 1047 010-2.
1047 004-5 was delivered on 17 Aug 2002, followed by the other vehicles on 29 Aug 2002, 08 Sept 2002, 16 Oct 2002 and 06 Nov 2002 respectively. All these locos were delivered with "Siemens" on the right hand sole plate at each end. All locos were finished in plain mid-blue livery with yellow ends and cab roof panels. The number is placed to the right of the cab door, with the MAV logo to its' right, both in white. The number appears in black lettering centrally under the cab windows on the ends.
