OBB Class 1044/1144

First introduced in 1974. the variants 1044 and 1044.2 were the first choice for mainline trains operating well into Germany too. This continued until the arrival of the Taurus. Recent rebulds have created the 1144. A feature of their time was some of the special liveries captured in photos and as graphics (by Sford) below.
