Private operator LTE have a Hector operating for SLB and named Joanna it is seen at Itlzing Depot, Salzburg.

2005 the Mittelweserbahn, a private logistics company based in Bruchh / Viesen, Germany, leased a class 2170 loco to Salzburger Eisenbahn Transport logistic GmbH, part of SVV. The loco is used on a Salzburg Liefering - Salzburg Itzling - Hallein - Bischofshofen - Hüttau daily freight service, the Ecco Cargo Pongau, connecting the rest of the Ecco Cargo logistics. Pictured at Bschofshofen. service with Kaindl Holzindustrie at Hüttau. Also on video.
