The Class 5090.

Based on the railcars designed originally for the StLB's Murtalbahn, the 5090s were introduced in 1986 with a second tranche in the mid 1990s. They operate across all the ÖBB narrow gauge routes. Six 5090 units in use on the Pinzgauerbahn, were sold to the Salzburg Lokalbahn on 1st July 2008.

Listed as made by Knotz/Bombardier, the works plates show them to have been built by Bombardier-Wien This example on 5090 011-7 at Ybbsitz,
