Extensively remodelled. Now (2006) a twin track loop round a broad island platform, with a siding to the goods shed at the north end. This layout replaced a four track loop. The station serves a heavy traffic of schoolchildren, and retains a large building.

Some services terminate here, while others continue to Krems a d Donau using the last section of the Franz Josef Bahn. Click here to continue, and when finished close to return here.

Each of the halts and stations has its own character, but be wary of the interval between trains. Few stations have facilities, and some halts do not even have shelters. The river and road follow the line most of the way, giving good photographic opportunities in what are rural landscvapes.
