Muhlkreistalbahn
Route and stations from Linz Unfahr - Rottenegg to Aigen Schlägl

The line in total starts at Linz Hbf, then moves through the docklands passing Linz Stadt Haven before crossing the Danube on the Eisenbahnbrucke. There then follows a short stretch of track down the centre of the road, before entering Urfahr station. There is no passenger service on this section.

The route continues from Urfahr on the Danube's north bank, as almost a suburban commuter route as far as Rottenegg. After there, it changes into a very rural line with steep ascents out to Rohrbach and ending at Aigen.

The line is not electrified, and has no working depots, stock being fuelled at Urfahr station..

The link to the main network is via the Eisenbahnbrucke to the Linz Hafen network.
