Electric Units and Trailers

Click symbols above for others

During the 1990s, Stern und Hafferl operated across 7 lines in a small area, Five standard gauge, and two metre gauge. Their numbering scheme once identifying vehicles to line has become less critical.

Since many of their trailers arefully fitted driving trailers, and others not, this page will include all passenger vehicles.

Here you can see illustrations of many of their rolling stck, but other pictures may appear elsewhere our the ARG site especially in the S&H pages from which you came.

the company has operated a fleet of electric units locomotives across its lines, mostly bought from other companies. Our gallery includes examples from all lines. Front numbers do not carry ET (power units) nor ES (driving trailers), but the full side inscriptions do.
