Up till 2005, LiLo had its own Lokalbahnhof about 5 minutes walk from the Hauptbahnhof to which it moved in Nopvermber 2006. From both stations the line runs parallel to the Westbahn, as far as Leonding. There LiLo splits off and heads through rolling countryside towards Alkovar. Along the way are signs of indutrial freight traffic, and at Alkovar a granary. More countryside follows as it parallel the main road before twisting away and entering Eferding itself.

Linz Lokalbahnnof Terminus station about 500m from the Hbf. Two platform tracks, headshunt siding and siding for locos with buildings on Coulinstraße. Closed 17 October 2005. LiLo uses two platforms on the west side of the rebuilt station since 18 November 2005.
		Untergaumberg on the edge of a modern housing development, with views across the Wetsbahn. Difficult to locate by road from which entrance is through noise screens.
		Gaumberg With farmland on one side, and suburban Linz to the other, this halt is only accessible by foot via an underpass.
		Leonding On the edge of Leonding, and about 50m from the ÖBB station. Passing loop and siding with buildings on north platform.
		Straßfeld single track platform and shelter
		Bergham Single track with shelter on edge of village adjacent to Pickle factory where the loop has been removed.
		Am Dürrweg Modern halt and shelter with siding into loading area of factory.
		Ruefling Single track with platform and shelter on the edge of village by the sports centre.
		Ruefling West Single track with modern shelter and large platform. On edge of village
		Dörnbach Three track with low platforms, crossed by road and with a somehwat derelict building. Not in 2005 timetable, but may still act as passing place.
		Dörnbach-Hitzing Single track with shelter. Just south of the main crossroads.
		Thurnharting Single track halt with shelter and car park on edge of village
		Kirchberg Thürnau two track with passing loop and modern platform
		Straßham-Schönering single track platform and shelter by level crossing in village centre.
		Wehrgasse Modern single track halt with platform and car park.
		Alkoven Three track station with sidings, at level crossing on Linz edge of town. Station yard parallels the main road.
		Alkoven Schule Modern single track halt with platform adjacent to school at Eferding end of town. Just off main road.
		Straß-Emling Start of a dual track section towards Eferding. Small building on roadside with platform and loading bay on siding opposite.
		Fraham Single track platform with shelter by a factory with a siding.
		Unterhillinglah Just off the main street, shelter and platform on the single track
		Eferding Haltstelle Platform with modern shelter on single track just beyond former timber loading yard. Halt is by level crossing in outskirts of town.
		Eferding Through station with four tracks and three platforms. Two depots, one with 2, one with three tracks. Storage area for stock at Linz end. Crossover point for services to Neumarkt, Peuerbach and Linz. Crossing point with (bus operated) Aschacherbahn (Wels - Achach) Stern u Hafferl offices and engineering facilities.
