Ybbstalbahn Bergstrecke
Route and stations from Lunz am See to Kienberg Gaming

Here we present the route map of the section, along with pictures of its stations. Visitors should note that the section is now run as a museum line by the Neiderösterreichosche Lokalbahn Betrebbgesellschaft Mbh The Bergstrecke starts off from Lunz station with a gentle run through the town, before turning into the climb through a narrow high sided valley. Initially in farmland, the scenery changes to have more trees, and the track and hillsides become steeper. By the summit, you understand the Berg in the section title, and on the north side, the line is dominated by trees as the line falls away before the valley opens out to Kienberg.

The Ybbstalbahn arrives at the foot of the picture
